Looking for a cheap used car can actually take a lot longer than you think. There are many things you need to consider when trying to buy cheap cars such as their condition and mileage.
When buying a cheap car, the most important thing you need to consider is the condition of the car. Some cars are able to hide their condition well through body work or a fresh paint job, you need to be able to see these faults even if they are well hidden. If a car looks like it has body fill on it, rub your hand along the area you think is suspicious. Body fill and a cars original body feel different from one another so it should be easy to distinguish the two.
Always take into consideration the mileage of the car. If a car for example is ten years old but only has 30,000 miles on it, you should consider that suspicious. More than likely the odometer has been rolled back, which in most countries is illegal.
The brand of the car is always important as well. Some brands are known for rusting out while others are known for their longevity, go with the latter.
Finding a cheap car is easy if you know what you are looking for, just don't jump at the first cheap price you see, you may end up regretting it later on.
